The fairies are coming tomorrow!
I'm so excited I love Christmas, I can't wait! Dexters now old enough to open his presents and Maddie now understand what's happening.
Things are going well on the writing front, I'm itching to write another series but I need to concentrate on these, but when 'your job's done' and I have to sit around waiting for others to do their bit it's difficult.
We have coloured characters now so backgrounds are next on the list. Who new there were so many styles of "colouring in". I've had a million to choose from then the one I picked there were a million more in the same style, but I think we got there and I love them more now, they look so real. How Russell did it I've no idea, trying to draw not what he see's but what I'm seeing must be so hard especially as I'm so picky! I got a good one!
Again it's Wednesday so I have to spend the afternoon in the office (aka the loft coffee house) to do some updates and brainstorming with my PA, oh it's hard work!

What a week and it's only Tuesday, I'm hoping this week will fly so I can start again!
On a positive note, I've finished editing and most of the feedback has been collected, so things are moving along nicely. My website is now up and running, How on earth did i do that??? Computers and myself really don't get on, but I DID IT! Now it's not the best website in the world, but its made with love, so I'm very proud. Actually that's my life story really, I've always had to work hard for what I want, from 15yrs old I had 3 part time job's and managed to save £75 a week after board, which i saved religiously for years and if I hadn't of been dealt some very bad cards I'd be a millionaire! Bought my 1st car at 16, my 1st house at 18, and did it all alone. I wasn't the brightest star in the sky but i worked hard, got my head down and achieved more than most thought I could. Now the same "who does she think she is?" looks emerge, as I'm starting to tell people about my new venture but I actually believe this IS going to work so stand back and watch me fly.

Oh again ! 4 days ahhhh it's 3.15am and I just remembered my everyday blog thingie, and I was doing so well ! Anyway too late now!
Is it wrong to be so excited about my business cards arriving ??? I got 500 business cards, 2x 'building memories' stamps, matching pens and the thing my mother is sooo impressed about a business card holder !!!! Oh dear I need to get out more !

Today has been quite a simple day.
This morning we went to the children's adventure centre, before taking moo to nursery, then this afternoon boring paperwork,emails, letters and that's about as exciting as my day got.
On the other hand tomorrow I'm meeting my illustrator, so I'm sure after tomorrow the wheels will be in motion and my books will look a little more like "the real thing".
I think I quite preferred it when people didn't know about my books, as all I ever seem to hear now is; "How are the books going?" Or "What's happening with the books?". Don't get me wrong, I love people being interested but answering the same questions 20 times a day gets a little bit depressing when I don't have any news and desperately want something exciting to tell people.
I'm sure by Christmas things will look a little more complete and I can start to make plans for publishing.

I'm going to use Siri as my new writing tool, so here goes!
Why do all my good ideas come when I'm in bed! It is now 12:45am, I having far too many ideas for my new books, I'm now on series 3 with so many ideas it's hard to keep track, I have notes everywhere! Who said writing was easy! I must say siri is making this much easier! Is this classed as cheating if I'm not actually writing? I think I actually prefer to write as Siri seems to get all my words muddled, so I'm having to edit it anyway!
So on with my writing and hopefully sometime tonight I shall get some sleep before the children wake-up and the fun begins !

Ohhh noooo my NaBloPoMo didn't go too well, blog number two, 28mins late !!!! Are nights classed as an excuse ????
Any who it sounds a fun challenge so I shall carry on regardless !
Anyone who knows me knows George (asda) is about as far as my designer labels go, but after my wonderful girl broke my purse, and searching frantically for one whilst on holiday to the lakes I refused to pay £8! But after falling in love with one at £44 (fossil) I'm now obsessed with it and after researching fossil purses the prices are going up but I can't control myself it's 00.33 now and (thanks to my purse obsession that's why I'm late blogging) I've found a bag and created a whole new wardrobe ! What's happening sleep deprivation has changed me, I no longer want cheap and cheerful, but bankrupting seems the only way to go ! Ahhhh I need help !

Saturday 5th November!
After working a night shift with two short hours sleep this morning, not looking forward to the next, I'm now doing my usual 'panic phoning' trying to persuade anyone to sit with my monkeys, so (in my closing line to my Dad, which clinched the deal) "I don't die!!!"
I say monkeys, their actually far from it, but lack of sleep makes me drift off into my own world, with the rather annoying children's television tunes playing in my mind, as i sit their watching them make more mess and my body just doesn't move ! Dexter's eating his 23rd orange and Maddie's on her 18th yogurt, so its time to call for re-enforcements !Dad's on his way !!! You never grow up enough to not need that line!

My books are out for review now, with nothing but positive feedback, so fingers crossed I will keep up the good record and things will start moving a little quicker! Having said that, I'm not sure quicker is so good, The last 6mths have flown so maybe this pace is fast enough.
Must dash Dexter is frantically signing 'please' so me time is over, back to reality, Grown up me over !
